iPhone 14 front camera gets biggest upgrade ever

It is still a while until Apple officially announce the iPhone 14, but there are now more and more rumors. According to a reliable Apple analyst, the iPhone 14 will receive the biggest upgrade ever for the front camera.

Read on after the ad.

iPhone 14: biggest upgrade ever for front camera

Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo once again contributes to the iPhone 14. According to the analyst, the front camera of the iPhone 14 will receive the largest upgrade ever. According to Kuo, the new camera will include autofocus. The current front camera still has a fixed focus. With an autofocus you will have an even sharper image.

However, more is about to change. The aperture goes up from f/2.2 (iPhone 13) to f/1.9. This will allow more light to enter the camera and the photos you take in the dark will look a bit better. The autofocus and the improved aperture ensure that the photos you take with the selfie camera also have more depth. This is of course ideal for portrait photos.

More camera upgrades for the iPhone 14 Pro

The adjustments to the selfie camera will be available for all models of the iPhone 14. But the iPhone 14 Pro gets a few extra upgrades. The biggest upgrade for the iPhone 14 Pro is a 48-megapixel camera. Kuo has already brought this out a few times before and that is a lot more than the iPhones of today. They have a sensor with 12 megapixels.

Four models of the iPhone 14

There are rumored to be four new iPhones this year. Something changes with the iPhone14 sizes. There will probably not be a successor to the iPhone 13 mini. New is the iPhone 14 Max, which is actually a larger regular iPhone 14. There will also be an iPhone 14 Pro and an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
