A making-of video with Michel Gondry
We are entitled to an audio commentary by Michel Gondry, who speaks English with a good French accent. “I like to start from something very trivial or mundane and find a way to make magic out of it”, says the one who made the films Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless, Mind, Be nice, rewind or the green Hornet. He adds to like the idea of using simple elements to propose behind a more sophisticated result.
The director also talks about the image quality offered by the iPhone. According to him, the quality is close to what we find with a professional camera. “It shows that everyone can have this visual that they have when they go to the cinema”. He doesn’t think everyone can shoot a movie with an iPhone, “But anyone can surprise you”.
The original video is part of the Shot on iPhone campaign. This campaign allows Apple to praise the quality of photos and videos found with its iPhone.
