Last week was arguably the last Apple event of the year. This is where the 2021 MacBook Pro and AirPods 3 were unveiled. The iPhone 13 has also become much cheaper last week. This is the most important iPhone news from last week.

Apple unveils spectacular 2021 MacBook Pro

Apple has given the MacBook Pro what may be the biggest update ever. The tech giant presented the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro 2021 during the October event earlier this week.

A new design, powerful Apple Silicon processor, new screen, the return of the HDMI port and more: the MacBook Pro 2021 has changed and improved on all fronts.

Also new: AirPods 3 have a fresh design

Apple also announced the new AirPods last week. The third generation has a new design with shorter stems that is reminiscent of the AirPods Pro.

The AirPods 3 have also received all kinds of audio functions, such as Spatial Audio. With this function you enjoy surround sound, in other words: sound that seems to move around you. The new AirPods 3 cost 199 euros and are available from this Tuesday.

Finally: macOS Monterey has a download date

It’s taken a long time, but in the midst of last week, Apple finally announced the release date of macOS Monterey. You can get started with the new software from October 25, this month.

macOS Monterey was announced at WWDC in June, but first went through a testing phase with a total of ten betas. Now (hopefully) all bugs have been fixed and everyone can install macOS Monterey.

iPhone 14 concept shows new design with hole in the screen

Apple is rumored to be working on a complete redesign for the iPhone, with the selfie camera hidden in a hole in the screen.

designer Ben Geskin forged the rumors together into a concept. In it we see an iPhone 14 without a notch, but with a camera hole. It is oval and a lot bigger than the camera hole at Android competitors.

iPhone 13 has already dropped in price considerably

The iPhone 13 has been in stores for less than a month, but it is already discounted. Last week we therefore listed the best offers.

There are interesting deals, especially in combination with a subscription. This is mainly because the (relatively low) device costs are not dependent on the subscription. So it doesn’t matter if you have a 2GB or unlimited internet bundle: the device price remains the same.

Official: T-Mobile brings Apple Watch with 4G to the Netherlands

You won’t need an iPhone with you for an internet connection on your Apple Watch. T-Mobile confirms that it will support the first 4G version of the Apple Watch in the Netherlands. It will be available from Friday, November 5.

The addition of 4G to the Apple Watch is called Multisim. This is an extra SIM that you link to your existing subscription.
