Install and downgrade iOS beta

The iOS 15 beta is now available, but how can you install it? And how do you go back to the more stable iOS 14? We show it in the video of the week.

Install iOS 15 beta: this is how you do it

Getting started now with features that will only officially come to the iPhone in the fall: as an iPhoned reader, that opportunity is probably hard to resist. It is therefore not surprising that many Apple fans install the beta of the latest iOS update every year.

This year, too, the iOS 15 beta is packed with new features. From the new Focus mode for managing your notifications to the completely redesigned Safari browser. Although the beta is again accompanied by the necessary crashes and crazy bugs this year, this will become more and more stable with each update that appears.

We close the video with an explanation of how to downgrade to iOS 14. That way you step out of the beta and return to the public version of Apple’s software.
