iNaturalist – Explore and Connect with Nature

This application will help you to consult, and why not send, observations of plants and animals via the iNaturalist community located in many countries.

During your walks for example, you may not be able to identify an animal / a plant and you will simply have to take a geotagged photo with your smartphone to obtain a precise answer.

Functioning :
– Outside, find something wild and take a clear photo.
– Share your point of view with the iNaturalist community
– Check back later to see community activity regarding your sighting.
– The observations are shared with scientists who work to better understand and protect nature.

Characteristics :
– Consult the observations made by the community.
– Create, view or join a project.
– Create or consult a guide.
– Manage your activity (your content, news, the observations you follow).
– Take part in missions available near where you are.
– Choose your iNaturalist network (from the settings): Global, Canada, Colombia, Mexico and New Zealand.
