These German cities are the best places to survive a zombie apocalypse
An analysis of Real estate portal Rentola picked five criteria they used to measure the chances of people surviving a zombie apocalypse in specific cities and counties: Vulnerability, hiding places, supplies, mobility and security. The highest possible score is ten and the lowest is zero. Based on these criteria, a list was created to determine the safest districts in Germany. The following counties are the ten safest:
- 10th place: district town Vechta
- 9th place: district Vogelsberg district
- 8th place: district Southern Wine Route
- 7th place: district Rhein-Lahn district
- 6th place: district Bernkastel-Wittlich
- 5th place: district Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim
- 4th place: district cochem cell
- 3rd place: district Vulkaneifel
- 2nd place: district Freyung-Grafenau
By far the safest place, however, is the District Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm. The district scored 8.42 points in the category of vulnerability, 8.29 in hiding places, 9.45 in supplies, unfortunately only 6.03 in mobility and 9.22 points in security. By the way, the most unsafe city is Gelsenkirchen. The city manages a 5.53 in terms of mobility, but it never goes higher than a 3.35 in all other categories. City residents might want to consider moving, at least if there’s a zombie outbreak.
