In memoriam: Esther Wagensveld, our forum queen
The Androidworld community has lost its forum queen, and we dedicate this article to her: Esther.
Esther
You can say that Esther has been partly responsible for building the large Androidworld community, because she was there from the start, along with a large group of AW members and moderators. She was available day and night on our forum and she helped everyone with questions about installing custom roms. She even went to visit people to help them flash ROMs. In addition, Esther could be found in our Telegram group and also in the reactions on the front page. Dim, Claudia and a number of forum members have brought back great memories about Esther:
Dim: “Esther was always very active and spent a lot of time on our forum, which has meant a lot to us as a platform. What stands out to me most is that it was always a laugh with her and where she was it was fun. We’re going to miss you…
Dave: “After several years of only speaking online, we decided to meet up with the team. And as soon as we got into the car together, we laughed, screeched, roared. Esther was no different. Always wash herself.”
Diana: “Es said as a toddler.. I am beautiful. She kept this statement all her life, she loved herself. I think many people can take an example from this. Convinced of her abilities and opinion.”
Claudia: “Esther had grown into her smartphone, her Samsung, as many of us have grown into our phone. Esther was a real queen, a little crazy, a little cocky and she always had such a contagious smile on her face.”
Have a nice trip dear Es. Love, the entire Androidworld community.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have
And I will live todayAnd I will love tomorrow
No matter what is said or done
Even if its going wrong
Esther fought bravely but unfortunately the cancer won. She has asked everyone to make a donation to the Antonie van Leeuwenhoek Foundation instead of flowers. This will allow even more research to be done into the treatment of this terrible disease. We will also make a donation on behalf of the entire Androidworld crew.
