IMac M1s are (a little) askew

Users who have received their iMac M1 have had the unpleasant surprise to find that the screen is a bit askew and tilts more to one side. It is therefore not quite right.

The iPhonedo YouTuber is in this situation and shows in his video that the screen of its iMac M1 is not straight by taking measurements to the left and right of the all-in-one using a ruler. Another user on Reddit said to have the same concern. “I checked mine after watching [la vidéo] and he’s also crooked. Not to the same degree as his, but not completely at the right level either ”, he says. He adds that he is no longer able to return the computer to Apple because it has exceeded the deadline (14 days in France). But in this case, he should be able to invoke the guarantee.

Yet another user, on Apple forums this time remarked. He too used a ruler and let it be known that the iMac M1 is slightly askew. “1mm is not a lot but enough to feel it, does anyone else have the same problem?” “, he asks. Someone replies that the difference is 2.5 mm at home.
