A striking rumor states that Apple is finalizing a 2021 iMac, which will appear in bright colors. A smaller version of the Mac Pro would also be released soon.

Read on after the ad.

‘iMac 2021 colors just like the iPad Air 2020’

The news comes from Jon Prosser, a now well-known Apple good that has been right several times. In a video on YouTube, he states based on sources that the design of the iMac 2021 is very similar to the iPad Air 2020 in terms of color use.

Apple would give the desktop a new design, which is reminiscent of an iPad Pro with a more angular design and narrower screen edges. According to Prosser, this appears in multiple colors: silver, black, green, pink and blue. In the renders that Prosser had made, you can see how the pastel colors resemble those of the iPad Air from last year.

The insider emphasizes that the connections on the back of the iMac in the renders are not final. They are simply copied from the iMac 2020 and therefore give a good estimate of the possibilities.

‘Mac Pro mini also on the way’

In addition to the colorful iMac, Apple would also be working hard on a smaller version of the Mac Pro. Last year, Apple’s brand new Mac Pro appeared, but the sky-high price meant it was only intended for a small audience. Apple would now work on a compact variant, which is intended for people who want more power than a Mac mini, but for whom the Mac Pro is too ambitious.

It is not yet clear when these new Macs will appear, but it is obvious before the end of the year. For months now, we’ve been hearing rumors of a new iMac introducing a new design for the first time in years.

In recent years, Apple has regularly unveiled new iMacs with a simple press release. So we may not have to wait for a major Apple event for these new devices. Although Apple will probably want to go big to present this new design for its desktop to the world. Undoubtedly to be continued.
