iPhone supplier is going to make a car

Not Apple, but iPhone supplier Foxconn is the first to announce that it is working on a car. That is how the fork is in the stem.

In recent months there have been a lot of rumors about the Apple car. The American tech company is said to have been in talks with Hyundai, Kia and Nissan, among others. In the end, we hardly know what, as Apple declines to comment on the reports.

Foxconn and Fisker are working on a car

Exactly now, iPhone supplier Foxconn comes out with interesting news. The company says it has plans to make an electric car. They have therefore entered into a partnership with Fisker. The program was launched under the name Project PEAR. This abbreviation stands for Personal Electric Automotive Revolution. No lack of optimism. The electric car should be a reality within two years.

It’s an interesting plan. Not only for Foxconn, but also for Henrik Fisker. The entrepreneur has already completed several special projects, including the Fisker Karma. A car that you occasionally encountered even in the Netherlands.

Foxconn has no ambition to build a very exclusive electric car. It must become a car for the masses. The idea is that there will be 250,000 copies of the electric car. For now we only have a sketch. Let’s just say the beginning is there.
