Ikea Symfonisk speakers on sale: 20 euros discount
The speakers in the Symfonisk series from Ikea work with Sonos technology: They are controlled via WiFi and can be combined to form a multi-room system. Certain models are currently on sale.
Ikea bookshelf speakers: €20 savings each
A cheap entry into the Sonos world: The Second generation Symfonisk bookshelf speakers is currently at Ikea for 109 euros each on sale (look at Ikea). Most recently, 129 euros per piece were due. From a technical point of view, a stereo setup consisting of two speakers is recommended: one speaker on the left, one on the right. This saves a whopping 40 euros on the regular price. The cuboid speaker is available in black and white.
Picture frame speakers: 30 euros discount (Ikea Family only)
Ikea Family Offer: The popular “Frame with WiFi speaker” is reduced for Ikea family members, here only 149 euros each (look at Ikea). The regular price is 179 euros.
At first glance, this model does not look like a speaker or even like a technical device. The loudspeaker is cleverly integrated under the “screen” – and despite the flat design, the sound is not to be despised. A black variant is also available at a promotional price. According to Ikea, the offer is valid from July 01, 2022 to July 31, 2022 or while stocks last.
What makes the Symfonisk speakers so popular?
For the Symfonisk speakers, Ikea has teamed up with the Californian premium audio manufacturer Sonos. So the Symfonisk boxes contain advanced Sonos technology: The speakers can be via WiFi combine them into stereo pairs or even surround setups, the music is transmitted over the home network. Control is via a highly acclaimed apartment, which – also in our opinion – represents the benchmark in the industry: Not all multi-room loudspeaker systems are as easy to use and as reliable as Sonos. Apple users are also happy about air play 2: This allows songs to be streamed from the iPhone or iPad to the Symfonisk speaker via WiFi.
Since Sonos products belong to a higher price range (e.g. the small Sonos Roam for 169 euros at MediaMarkt), the Symfonsik series from Ikea is one inexpensive entry into the Sonos system A later expansion or upgrade with additional Sonos loudspeakers is then possible without any problems – without a time-consuming system change.
One can speculate as to why Ikea is now lowering the prices for Symfonisk for a short time. It is quite possible that Amazon Prime Day 2022, as an important discount spectacle, provided an impetus here.
