Then three years later came another continuation to the cinemas. As expected, the title of the film “Kill the Boss 2” is not particularly creative. New on board for part 2 are Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz, who is predestined for villains.

Both films can only for a short period of time be seen on Amazon Prime Video, because both are currently in the ominous list “Not in Prime in less than 30 days” on Amazon’s website.

Ergo: at the latest in almost four weeks and thus in the course of May the films will no longer be available free of charge for Amazon Prime members. After that, Amazon holds out its hand and demands an additional rental fee.

The evaluations in detail: clear trend for part 1

But are the two black comedies even worth it? The first part is generally better. The IMDb gives it a rating of 6.9 points. At Rotten Tomatoes, a comparable 69 percent by the pros, respectively 70 percent of the viewers.

The second part falls off significantly. On the IMDb, the film only achieves 6.3 points, on Rotten Tomatoes it even falls flat with 35 percent. Even the viewership of 47 percent is not a glorious record. In this respect: You can watch the first part with a clear conscience, the Continuation, on the other hand, is purely a matter of taste.
