‘Huawei wants to bring HarmonyOS to Europe next year’

The future for the combination Android and Huawei is not very bright these days, due to the American sanctions that have been imposed. The brand is now fully committed to HarmonyOS. More is now known about the arrival of the own OS to Europe.

HarmonyOS is coming to Europe

Judging by the latest reports, Huawei is planning to release HarmonyOS in Europe. HarmonyOS is Huawei’s own operating system, which is based on Android, but with its own additions. This means support for Android apps, among other things, but the official way to download apps is the Huawei AppGallery. Furthermore, the brand also wants to replace EMUI with HarmonyOS. It is unknown whether this will also happen with devices that have already been released in our continent, or whether Huawei has a different plan for this.

HarmonyOS should be suitable not only for smartphones, but also for other devices. The first smartphones with HarmonyOS should be released in Europe in 2022. The information about this comes from Chinese media, which in turn base the information on statements by Huawei chief executive Derek Yu. At the moment it is not yet clear when exactly the new devices with HarmonyOS will appear in Europe.
