Milestone officially introduces Hot Wheels Unleashed -apkrig

About two weeks ago, information leaked through the Xbox Store that Italian racing game specialists, such as Milestone, are preparing a licensed Hot Wheels Unleashed game for this year in addition to MotoGP 21 or Monster Energy Supercross 4. And because Microsoft has been leaking similar leaks lately indeed they go, it didn’t take long and the game got its official performance. Everything you could potentially draw in the first half of February is true and it must be admitted that the first trailer – although not representing the form of the game – abounds in the conditions of the Milestone studio with an unusually good presentation.

As for the game itself, the developers from Milestone, according to the first information, bet on what the Hot Wheels series really adorns. That is, collecting various cars and racing on plastic orange tracks, which are not afraid of loopings, knocked corners and, thanks to video games, also of various power-ups and other gravity-denying elements. The axis of the whole experience should be frantic races for up to 12 players in online or offline mode, or in combination with a two-member split-screen. The developers also count on various boosts, drifting and long jumps, which, according to the trailer, the physics of plastic tracks could also speak. If the free end of the orange track in front of you is swayed by your opponent, it may happen that your jump will not be long enough and you will fall into another part within the circuit.

If players agree to this, it will of course be conditioned by the basic skeleton of the game, the driving model and physics, which should play its specific role in the English world.

Looking at the footage in the video, it can be sensed that Milestone wants to compete with Trackmania with Hot Wheels Unleashed, which is a relatively ambitious plan, but a popular license could help a lot. Undoubtedly, a layer of collecting will enter the whole experience, translated into the world of games as DLC with toy cars, which indicate various editions in which the game can already be pre-ordered. Another important component is the track editor, which could also be associated with seasonal content at the level of monetization and provide additional pieces to those who are willing to pay. If players agree to this, it will of course be conditioned by the basic skeleton of the game, the driving model and the physics that it should have in the world. English people play their specific role. After all, even in the video it can be seen that if the car does not have enough speed, it will fall off the track and from the furious, fire-spitting racing special it is suddenly just a sad car lying on the roof. We will also be very curious about the visual processing, in which developers could project plastic parts and admit that cars are basically just toys.

If you like the concept, write the date September 30, 2021 in the calendar, when the game will be released on the PC, both current generations of PlayStation and Xbox, and last but not least on Switch. It’s also nice that the game will not be offered for the highest price of AAA games, so you can get the basic edition for about 1300 CZK. You will receive a higher edition – collector’s or ultimate – for 1850, resp. 2370 CZK. However, you will be rewarded with the bonuses already indicated above, including the Hot Wheels Pass and a few extra cars.
