Design: choose your color wisely for everyday life

In his general conception, Huami allowed himself some fantasies. The T-Rex Pro is available in three different colors: Gray, Blue and Black. At MeilleurMobile, we were lucky enough to receive the ebony shade for our test. The advantage of this color is to be able to offer you an all-terrain elegance despite your outfit. The case set up on the watch is rather very imposing with a diameter of 4.7 centimeters and a thickness of 1.3 centimeters. The bracelet is made of silicone which offers both comfort and elegance, even on hairy arms.

The polycarbonate housing offers extreme strength in several situations. The watch is waterproof to 10 ATM, meaning that in theory it is able to withstand pressure from a depth of 100 meters underwater. On the manufacturer’s site, it would also be able to withstand a temperature of 70 degrees or even a drop of 40 degrees. Finally, the bracelet has a total of 20 notches to adapt to any type of wrist to accompany you on a daily basis.

Despite everything, once looked at in detail, the watch does not manage to separate from its plastic appearance which sticks to its skin. Yet the T-Rex Pro is a solid product capable of accompanying even the most intense sports sessions.

Ergonomics: a connected watch that can be used in all situations

In everyday use, the case of this watch is perfectly suited to all situations. To do this, four buttons are placed on the smartwatch to allow you optimal use. In the use of the buttons the distribution is as follows:

• The upper left button named “Up” allows you to access the parameters of the watch
• The lower left button named “Down” gives you access to the summary of your day
• The upper right button named “Select” reveals the list of activities to be launched

Application: the T-Rex Pro is able to follow you to the end of the world

As with the Zepp Z connected watch, the T-Rex Pro works in symbiosis with the Zepp mobile application. This software is available for download both on Android but also on the App Store. It allows you to track your daily activity with several categories. One of the great strengths of this application is the variety of numbers offered. Your sleep, your heart rate, your daily activity, everything is measured in great detail. It is used as a graph to list sports activities.

With this connected watch, Huami seeks to offer a product of great safety. In the design aspect, the Chinese brand first made the choice of a solid device. Yet the T-Rex Pro fails to shake off its toy-like appearance. After having tested it for a while, it still shows immense strength.

During its test, it was above all the software part that sometimes turned out to be faulty. There are a few untranslated features to note on the smartwatch. Its ergonomics are nevertheless good with a physical part as well as a touch panel capable of adapting to your requests.
