Do Amazon vouchers expire?
How long a voucher code from an Amazon prepaid card is valid depends on when the voucher was purchased. With all more or less recently issued vouchers, you can take your time redeeming them.
Amazon vouchers and prepaid cards are Valid for 10 years. You can redeem them until the end of the 10th year.
This applies both to codes that have not yet been redeemed and to credits that are already on top-up accounts. The 10-year validity applies to any Amazon credit used with 14 or 15 digit codes has been charged. Within this period you should redeem a code in the Amazon account and use the credit for purchases before it expires.

A cash payment of Amazon credit is generally not possible. You can’t have Amazon credit transferred to other accounts either.
If you found an old prepaid card that was issued before July 1, 2014, it has now expired. Up to this point of time Amazon gift cards were only valid for three years.
Validity period of Amazon vouchers
There are also promotional codes made up of 12, 16 or 18 digits and letters. These can only be redeemed for a limited period of time. How long depends on the campaign in question. After certain offer periods have expired, the vouchers will expire.
