Horizon Forbidden West: Totems of War – All Locations

The War Totems are collectibles in Horizon Forbidden West. As a reward you will receive a nice Easter Egg with a nod to God of War. In the following we show you all locations of the war totems.

All War Totems Locations

Next to the relic ruinsFlight Recorders, Beacon Lenses, Surveillance Drones, and Overlooks are also collectible War Totems in Horizon Forbidden West. There are 3 of them in total. You don’t need them for all trophies, but they have a nice reward ready for you.

The War Totems are Easter Eggs related to the PlayStation exclusive game God of War. Although you can already see a trace in advance at the respective locations with your focus, it is not necessary to collect them.

Just go to the locations shown and collect the respective war totem. They are not a missable collectible, you can collect them even after completing the story.

Brotherhood Totems – Location

The first totem can be found on one small island in the southeast of the map, south of Hatchery MU. The totem depicts the brothers Sindri and Brok from God of War (2018). We show you the exact location in the following video:

The second totem is of Kratos himself. It’s in the snowy area of ​​the map, to be precise east of “The Hothouse” and west of the sunken cave “Steep Mountains”. In the following video we show you the exact location:

Totem of Youth – Location

You can find the last totem in San Francisco, Southwest of Misty Heights Overlookit reflects Atreus. Important: The last totem remains unreachable for you until you reach the main mission “Faro’s Tomb”.

Reward for all War Totems

As soon as you have all 3 war totems, you switch them Legendary Facepaint “Warpaint” free. To equip the painting, you have to go to a painter in a town. But you can also create it at another location, it costs you 10 shards.
