Hercule Poirot returns in his first major case -apkrig

Microids has been a novelty in recent months. Another announced game is the adventure game Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases. The small gray cells force us to strain the developers of the Blazing Griffin studio, to whom the detective stories are no strangers. They have, for example, the game Murder Mystery Machine, but also the Victorian PvP stealth action Murderous Pursuits.

The main hero of the new adventure will be the young Hercule Poirot, as the subtitle The First Cases suggests. We meet them before he becomes the famous detective we all know and love, Microids say. The release date is also a surprise. The title will hit the market on September 28 on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, and will of course also work on new consoles.

Belgian honors and cream is probably not much better than British one. Everyone is said to be hiding something.

For the first time ever, players are to explore a hitherto unknown chapter of Poirot’s life. At the moment, he is still a young police officer and detective in pre-war Belgium. The developers came up with their own thrilling story, but Agatha Christie’s fans say they should immediately identify key elements of her stories. Microids attract, for example, an unexpected outcome.

And what is it all about? Young Hercule Poirot accepts an invitation to a party of the influential Van den Bosch family. Their daughter’s engagement is to be announced here. But a snowstorm hits the city and traps all the guests inside the mansion. And the fun is soon thwarted by the murder of one of the invited visitors. True, this is really a plot in the typical style of Agatha Christie.

According to the developers, Poirot is in the right place at the right time and will immediately start an investigation. It is said that carefully guarded secrets and secret rivalries await us. By playing for the (not yet so) famous Belgian detective at the beginning of his career, when he has yet to earn spurs, the premise coincides remarkably with the competitive detective adventure Sherlock Holmes Chapter One from the Ukrainian studio Frogwares. It’s all the more interesting that two more famous fictional detectives would be hard to find, even though Holmes clearly outperformed Poirot in the field of games.

Even in Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases, the authors will test our ability to deduce and we will combine evidence, clues and clues in a mind map. As in Sherlock, this will allow us to visualize and connect key elements of the case in an effort to come up with some functional theories. And we shouldn’t miss the famous grandiose revelation of the culprit at the very end of the story.

The team promises a comprehensive case of murder and the opportunity to discover what lies behind the carefully built but apparently false facade of a classy family. Belgian honors and cream is probably not much better than British one. Everyone is said to be hiding something. We need to hear all witnesses and suspects in an effort to obtain the necessary information. We will notice the conspicuous circumstances, examine the luxury residence, and the developers even suggest that the murder case is not the only mystery we have to solve.

Microids has released the first trailer and a set of screeenshots. Unfortunately, the selected trailer does not show much from the game. However, the pictures reveal that the studio bet on a somewhat atypical isometric camera, which they had already tried in the Murder Mystery Machine. We will see whether it will be an advantage or, on the contrary, a weakness.

It’s high time to wax your mustache and let people know you’re from Belgium, not France!

Hercule Poirot of Ones and Zeros

As already mentioned, Hercule Poirot is not a newcomer to the world of video games, but he has fewer titles than you might think or deserve. It is worth mentioning Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express (2006), Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile (2007) or Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun (2007). Poirot took his last trip to the digital world a few years ago in the adventure Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders. It was already published by Microids, but it did not come close to the fame of the original.
