Have you solved the crashing Google app issues?

This morning the phones on the Androidworld editors flooded with messages about the Google app that kept crashing continuously. Have you become a victim of it and have the problems already been solved?

The Google app shows issues on many phones. The app crashes after starting, the app crashes immediately or can’t even be started at all. The complaints flowed into our Telegram group, among others, and (temporary) solutions were also frequently suggested, including this solution.

There were also problems with Gmail last week, from sync errors to problems logging in and opening attachments. In March, an awful lot of Android phone owners suffered from multiple apps crashing on their mobile due to the Android System Webview app. As with Gmail last week, the problem was not limited to our national borders, but Android owners worldwide were affected.
