Guardians of the Galaxy: game time, scope and chapter overview

With Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy you can expect an action-packed trip through space, which is also extremely extensive. But how long is the playing time exactly? We give you an overview of the scope and list all the chapters.

Playing time of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Depending on how you play Guardians of the Galaxy, the duration of the game differs as follows:

• Approx. 15-17 hoursif you just focus on the story.
• Approx. 20-25 hoursif you want to find all collectibles or unlock all trophies and achievements.

scope

The action adventure has a clear story focus. There are 16 chapters in total, and each chapter lasts about an hour. Some missions even last over two hours and others are a little shorter.

Between the chapters you can move freely on the Milano, the spaceship of the Guardians, and talk to your crew members. Apart from that, you will be guided through the missions in a targeted manner. With one exception, there are no open level areas, side missions or the like.

Those who like to explore can at least find new outfits or guardian collectibles in hidden corners of the level. The latter unlock new dialogues with the Guardians on the Milano. In addition, you can make decisions at various points in the game that do not affect the end, but result in slight changes in the course of the mission. This increases the replayability.

In addition, there is also a New Game Plus, in which you can dare a new playthrough and take all of the costumes and skills you have collected from the first playthrough with you. Here you can make alternative decisions and really see everything from the game.
