GTA+ is Rockstar’s subscription to milk gamers even more
And you thought Rockstar would be done milking GTA V by now? wrong. Meet GTA+.
GTA was re-released this month for the new generation of consoles. The game can be played in improved graphics on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The online part can be played for free. For the single player you have to pay to experience it in new form.
So, after almost 10 years of Grand Theft Auto V, that’s probably Rockstar’s last move regarding this game. At least you would think so. Nothing is less true. Rockstar Games introduces GTA+. A new subscription for GTA Online. For $6 a month, Grand Theft Auto Online players get some benefits over non-paid members.
As a subscriber, you get half a million Grand Theft Auto dollars deposited into your virtual bank account every month. You also get a discount on in-game items. Furthermore, you can expect additional upgrades for your car, unlock items from previous updates and you can expect even more bonuses. You also get an in-game bonus if you buy Shark Cars with real money as a subscriber. It shouldn’t get any crazier.
With the arrival of GTA+, Rockstar Games makes it clear once again that they are certainly not ready with both Grand Theft Auto V and Online. It’s another merciless new way to monetize gamers looking to shine in the virtual world of Los Santos.
