Google Tasks gets update with Material You design

A new update is rolling out for the Google Tasks Android app. With this new update, users are presented with a new design, featuring the Material You design.

If you are looking for a tasks app, there is a lot of choice in the Google Play Store. For some time now, Google itself has also had a tasks app; Google Tasks. This application is now finally getting a nice update, with which the Material You design is central. So this one has been given a new look.

Google Tasks combines the reminders from your calendar and those from the Google Assistant. All this in a sleek application where you can create multiple lists. You can see this in the tabs at the top. You can choose whether the theme should be taken over from the smartphone, or whether you go for a light or dark theme as standard.

With the handy bar at the bottom of the screen you can immediately start creating a task. From now on, this bar takes over the color of the set background. Something that is characteristic of Material You. You can also quickly create extra task lists via the application in which you can place your tasks.

The update for Google Tasks is rolling out from now on. It may take a while for everyone to receive the new update.
