Google Play Store will no longer recommend crashing apps

Recommended apps in the Google Play Store

The company will do this, among other things, by tackling apps that often crash. These apps will soon no longer be found in the recommended lists. This concerns apps that often do not respond and therefore show the message ‘Application not responding’.

These apps will soon have to disappear from, for example, ‘recommended for you’ or will receive a special warning stating that you may experience problems with the app while using the app. crashes. Google says in a blog post: “Android users expect a great experience from the apps and games they download, so we’re making higher quality titles more visible on the Play Store and steering users away from lower quality titles. One of the most important ways to improve the quality of your app and attract more users is to focus on technical quality. To do that, we are implementing new quality thresholds that better match the user experience.”

When not qualitative?
