Google Play Games is now available on Windows PCs in the Netherlands

The beta version of the Google Play Store is now available in the Netherlands for Windows PCs and laptops. At the moment it only concerns Google Play Games. Google promises that the apps must also run seamlessly on PCs and laptops and that they will receive mouse and keyboard support.

Google Play Store on Windows

From now on it is possible to use the Google Play Store officially on Windows. It was previously possible to do this with a certain tool, but you had to use the Amazon App Store for this. The Google Play Store was not usable on Windows by default. However, this is now changing, as a beta version of the Play Store has been released with which it can be used as standard on Windows devices.

People who are interested can try the first beta version. At the moment only the Google Play Games are available. The apps should follow at a later time. Google is working hard to optimize all apps for PC and laptop use. For example, the apps and games must have mouse and keyboard support.

Synced progress in apps and games continues through your Google account. This should allow you to continue games that you play on your laptop on your smartphone or tablet. This should also apply the other way around. For this you must of course use the same Google account on both devices.
