Google Messages with update

The first major update of the year is ready for Google Messages, or Google Messages. The Android app that can be used for sending messages has been expanded with a series of useful improvements. The reactions of iPhone users will now be displayed as emoji, this will work first on devices set to the English language. Furthermore, it becomes possible to share sharper videos, and you can directly share a video as a link from Google Photos. A similar function should soon be available for sending photos via Google Photos.

The inbox is more organized, whereby a distinction can be made between a personal and a business tab. A so-called ‘follow-up’ can also be used, in which you are encouraged to respond to something. When a contact’s birthday has been saved, Google Messages can show a notification to congratulate them. Finally, there is also expansion for Google’s Emoji Kitchen with over 2000 new emoji mashups.

The update for Google Messages will roll out in the coming weeks.
