Google has quietly added a new feature to the Google Maps Android app. When you visit the settings in the navigation app, you will now see the option to change the language of the app. It is directly the top option ‘App language’. You will then see a number of suggestions that may be interesting to set as a language. Below that you will find a long list of all languages ​​in which you can change the language of Google Maps.

When you have chosen the language, the application must be restarted. When that is done, you can use Google Maps in the selected language. Think of Google Maps in German, Swedish or perhaps rather in Chinese. The functionality will be available from now on and can be found in the settings of Google Maps. To reach it, press your profile picture in the Maps search bar.
