Google is completely changing how we call Pixel phones
Google is giving many of its Pixel smartphones some important functions with the latest feature drop. We especially noticed one feature of it that will make life a lot easier for many people in calls and video conferences. But there is much more to discover.
Google phones get new features
Google has already carried out the tenth feature drop for Pixel smartphones. The company’s phones are regularly updated with new features that other manufacturers don’t offer. With the latest feature drop, we caught a glimpse of a great feature that makes calling and communicating easier for many people. Google leads on the Pixel phones viz automatic subtitles during calls and video conferences a.
But what does that actually mean? People who cannot or do not want to speak can access subtitles in calls or video conferences. There they can type in text for communication during the call, which is not only displayed to the other person as a subtitle in text form, but is also read aloud at the other end. The feature is only available on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro (for testing). The choice of languages is also limited.
Google basically creates one with it new way of communication for people who cannot or do not want to speak. So far, you can participate in a call as a listener, but you don’t have your own voice. You have to hope that someone will eventually read the text you type in chat. With the new function, this will no longer be necessary.
