Google brings handy Lens functionality to Chrome browser
The Google Chrome browser can be found on many computers. Google has now announced new functionality for the browser; GoogleLens.
Google Lens for Chrome
We already know Google Lens from the app and sometimes also camera integration on Android. For example, image recognition can be used to show what you see in front of you. If you scan an orchid, Google Lens will tell you in seconds that the plant you see in front of you is an orchid. If you point your phone at the Erasmus Bridge, Google will show this as a result.
So now the function is only available for the smartphone, but that will change. In the coming months, Google Lens will be available for the web version of Chrome, so on your computer. Enabled, you as a user can select a part of a web page, after which Google Lens will show related information.
