Google brings ‘At A Glance’ to the Pixel Watch

The Google Pixel Watch can now not only measure the oxygen level in your blood, but also gets the At a Glance complication. You can read what you can do with it in this article.

What is At a Glance?

On the home screen of Pixel phones, you’ll find the handy At a Glance widget, part of the Google app. This widget displays useful information such as the date, weather, reminders and your next appointment in the calendar. You can also view this information on the lock screen.

In addition, the widget shows flight information if you have received flight tickets in Gmail. Think of such as airport details and flight schedules. You will also see that someone has rung the doorbell when the Nest or Ring doorbell is pressed. If your Pixel is set to the Dutch language, the widget will be called Quick Overview.

This widget is now also available on Google’s Pixel Watch. There it is not a widget but a complication, as part of a watchface.

“At A Glance” or “Quick View” is part of the Assistant for Wear OS and is only available in the rectangular view of the Modular II or Modular III layouts of the Utility watchface. The complication may also be available on third-party watch faces.

When setting up this watchface, you must first give the Google Assistant access to your calendar. Then you can customize the watch face. The default configuration shows the day/date with an icon for the current weather conditions and the temperature next to it. Tapping it opens the Weather app.
