Google also releases Pixel 6a in the Netherlands

We already got to see the new Pixel 7 series on Thursday. Now there is even more news to report about the Pixel models. Google is now also releasing the Pixel 6a in the Netherlands. We’ll keep you up to date.

Pixel 6a released in the Netherlands

Yesterday, Google announced that from now on you can really go to the Netherlands for the Pixel devices. We wrote about the Pixel 7 series announcement, and those two smartphones will be available in the Netherlands from next week. While it didn’t feature further in Google’s announcement, there is some news about other Pixel models. The Pixel 6a was already available in our country, but this was only gray import.

The Pixel 6a was announced last May and features a 6.1-inch screen. This is a Full-HD+ OLED display with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is 5G support and a 4306 mAh battery. The smartphone now runs on Android 13 thanks to a previously published update. In total, the device will receive three Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

Google gives the Pixel 6A a dual-camera with a 12.2 megapixel main camera and 12 megapixel wide-angle lens. The smartphone has a price of 459 euros and is for sale at Belsimpel and T-Mobile, and we also see it at Mobiel.
