4. Oysters on the mudflats

In Badhotel Bruin on Vlieland you can sleep, eat in restaurant Bravoure and dine outside. Then the oysters are served fresh off the mudflats. Including rain boots, blankets, three-course menu, bubbles and wine, that will cost you € 275 for 2 people. Expensive, but for a special occasion we are happy to make the cut.

Want to spend the night on the water? With the holiday boat Frederiek, a classic 8.5-metre flat-bottomed boat, you can board from Schermerringvaart and sail across the water to Alkmaar or Amsterdam. There are four sleeping places. You can sail to various ports in half an hour and you can moor for breakfast, lunch, dinner or shower. Handy: you don’t need a license for this boat. 10. Tiny Houses

The cottages are suitable for 2 people and there is possibly room for 2 guests. The Tiny Houses are located in DroomPark Bad Hoophuizen and are located in the middle of the Veluwe nature and directly on the Veluwemeer. The beach is within walking distance. From €199 for a weekend.
