Garmin is preparing some great smart watches. This is what they will look like

One of the largest manufacturers of sports watches, Garmin, is preparing a number of new editions of its watches, including a new model Garmin Epix Gen2. According to the portal Winfuture will present them at next year’s CES 2022 in Las Vegas, which will take place in late January.

Garmin will soon introduce older models Vivomove 3, Vivomove Sport a Approach S12 in new color variants, but also plans several new models. Probably the most anticipated will be Garmin Epix Gen2. It will be the successor to the model, which was introduced seven years ago. It was the first Garmin watch with GPS to be able to display maps on its display.

The new generation will be an upgraded version with a significantly larger and also round display, which is housed in a housing made of polycarbonate reinforced with glass fibers and 316L stainless steel. The watch should have a water resistance of 10 ATM. The novelty will, of course, again have GPS support and a blood oxygenation sensor, respectively a heart rate.

Six more models will be presented at CES 2022

They are also new Garmin Fenix 7, Garmin Fenix 7S a Garmin Fenix 7Xthat have a sophisticated design. These models are again available in various colors, they are also made of stainless steel and reinforced plastic. The functions are the same as in the previous generation and again there is an integrated solar panel, which should be able to extend the battery life.

Other new models will be Garmin Instinct 2 a Garmin Instinct 2S. Again, it will be a smart watch with GPS, which is equipped with an e-ink display. Thanks to it, the endurance on one charge is significantly extended. They also offer various motion monitoring functions. In addition to step counting, GPS and heart rate measurements also provide information on sleep quality and other health features.

The last will be Garmin Venu 2 Plus. The elegant smart watch from Garmin, which is equipped with an OLED display, has been given another physical button according to the pictures, the function of which is still unclear. When and at what prices Garmin will launch its new smart watch portfolio is currently unknown, as are their technical parameters.
