The Galaxy S23 will consist of three models. Visually speaking, the design will be more than similar, if not identical to that of the Galaxy S22. The changes will therefore take place under the hood, especially with the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in the world. In previous years, Samsung offered Snapdragon chips to some countries (like the United States) and its own Exynos chips to Europe. Testing has always shown Snapdragon chips to be better, so the change is good news for Europeans.
Other novelties are already known, such as the fact that Samsung will offer a communication system using satellites, in particular to contact emergencies in areas where there is no network. The system should be similar to what Apple offers with its iPhone 14. On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra would be entitled to a 200 megapixel photo sensor, against 108 megapixels for the current model.
See you on February 1 to discover the Galaxy S23. It is currently unclear whether there will be further announcements at the Unpacked conference.
