Five-month-old son Nick Cannon dies of brain tumor

The boy had hydrocephalus, also known as hydrocephalus. That is a condition where the head is full of cerebrospinal fluid; in Zen’s case, it was due to a tumor. The family found out that Zen was ill when he was two months old. “I wanted to take him to the doctor because of his cavities and breathing. We thought it would be a routine checkup,” Cannon, 41, said.

To work

It turned out not to be and in the hospital Zen was operated on his head. His health deteriorated late last month. Last weekend, Cannon held his son in his arms for the last time. “You can’t heal until you feel it,” said the comedian, adding that he has returned to work because it works best for him. However, he dedicated the episode to his son.

Children

Cannon got Zen with his girlfriend Alyssa Scott in June. It is his seventh child. A week before Zen’s birth, Cannon’s ex-girlfriend Abby De La Rosa gave birth to twins. A year ago, the comedian had a daughter with model Brittany Bell. Together they also have a son, Golden. Cannon shares 10-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
