Finally Android Auto in your Porsche

Porsche has released a new version of the infotainment system, including support for Android Auto.

If you had a modern Porsche, it would be best to have an iPhone. The smartphone receives support in a Porsche through Apple CarPlay. If you had an Android you could not use Android Auto in a new car from the German car manufacturer for a long time. That is now changing with the rollout of Porsche Communication Management 6.0.

The sixth version of PCM brings a number of innovations, including support for Android Auto. Other innovations include a new design, an update for Porsche Connect, improvements for voice commands, and a virtual race coach with support for 300 race tracks.

Porsche now also with Android Auto

The Porsche Taycan was already equipped with Porsche Communication Management 6.0. However, this was still a limited version, while the German car manufacturer was working on a full version in the background. Via an over-the-air update, the Taycan will receive the latest version of Porsche Communication Management 6.0.

In addition to the Taycan, the Porsche 911, Cayenne and Panamera will also be equipped with the latest version of Porsche Communication Management with Android Auto.
