Features, specs and pricing revealed
Samsung still wants to introduce the new Android tablets Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus and S8 Ultra, but basically all the details are already known. Leaked marketing material reveals a lot. There’s even a short video to see and the prices of all versions. One detail is particularly interesting. It’s about the built-in processor.

Anyone interested in a new high-end tablet should definitely wait for the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Plus or Ultra. The new series will have installed absolute high-end hardware. So far it has been assumed that all models will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In fact, Samsung is probably changing its strategy and doing it like it does with smartphones. In Europe, the new Tablets can be equipped with the Exynos 2200 from Samsung. This is what the fine print on leaked marketing material reveals:
As with the Evan Blass leak, Samsung had the slides blocked on Twitter. The colleagues from Notebook check but were fast enough to create copies so that we can look at the three new tablets at our leisure. There are no big surprises. It will only be that again Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra confirmed with the 14.6-inch displaywhich will also have the largest battery:
As expected, a high-resolution Super AMOLED display is used. Interestingly, everyone owns Galaxy Tab S8 tablets have a microSD slot. The Ultra even has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. This is no longer the case with the Galaxy S22 smartphones. Neither the microSD slot nor 16 GB of RAM. Samsung equips the tablets better than the smartphones. However, a power supply should also be dispensed with here.
Otherwise, Samsung has only made minor improvements. There is a little more performance, the S Pen is more precise, the sound is supposed to be better, the software has new functions and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a notch with a dual camera. Samsung also wants to have improved the cooperation between the individual devices.

Meanwhile, all the prices for the Galaxy Tab S8 tablets have also been leaked. It starts at 769 euros for the smallest model and goes up to 1,699 eurosif you want the best configuration of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with 5G:
The presentation of the new Galaxy Tab S8 tablets is expected on February 9th together with the Galaxy S22 smartphones. Samsung has not yet confirmed this.
