Fans are puzzled over bizarre packaging

Spotting the PlayStation 5 in a store is extremely rare right now, and when you do see it, it’s packed in a normal box. A Reddit user has discovered a very special copy, but it raises a few questions.

The PS5 in a nice surprise bag

The PlayStation 5 has been on the market for almost a year and yet it is still very difficult to get. Delivery problems for individual parts mean that not enough consoles can be produced. So-called scalpers are still trying to sell the PS5 for huge sums of money, but they are slowly running out of customers – a positive trend.

That said, finding a PS5 on a shelf is probably a big surprise, especially when it looks that special. Reddit user Patiencesbest came across a shimmering box in Dubai that obviously caught his attention. The content: A customized PlayStation 5.

According to the packaging, this is an original from Sony including a DualSense controller, but not in its original condition.

“The controller and console were created by our superhero team of artists in our top-secret state-of-the-art family.

Our team of experts has made sure that there are no restrictions in terms of functionality and you are covered by the Switch guarantee, ”says the text on the back of the pretty packaging.

What does the console look like in the box?

That is exactly the question of the price! The console is packaged in a cardboard box that does not allow you to preview the console. Is it just a different color, is there a pattern or a logo? Everything is possible, but it is certain that both the PS5 and the DualSense controller were painted with car paint. Sounds strange, but maybe it holds up so well.

For the good piece, however, you have to dig deep into your pocket. The price 4285 DHS is written on a label. If that means the currency dirham, beats the surprise bag with about 995 euros. Unfortunately, we do not find out whether it is actually worth it.
