Even faster than the RTX 4090? New Nvidia graphics card is a monster

With the RTX 4090, Nvidia is currently the undisputed king of gaming graphics cards – even the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX cannot keep up. However, alleged images of the RX 4090 Ti have now surfaced – and it seems to be an even bigger graphics card monster.

Leaked pictures of the RTX 4090 Ti: 800 watts of concentrated graphics power?

Nvidia calls 1,859 euros as an RRP for the RTX 4090 in this country – that’s a hell of a lot of money even for die-hard PC gamers. But that may just be the tip of the iceberg. After all, Nvidia has always pushed a Ti model into the past generations.

And even if one can hardly imagine at the moment that the RTX 4090 will eventually reach its limits, it is not surprising that Nvidia is apparently already working on a prototype of an even more powerful card: the RTX 4090 Ti.

Hardware Insider MEGAsizeGPU posted on Twitter posted alleged images of the upcoming gaming flagshipwhich do not yet reveal much about the design of the graphics card, but already make it clear that potential customers should reserve a surprising amount of space for the RTX 4090 Ti in their computer:

In the picture you can see that the graphics card proud 4 slots occupied. For comparison: The Founders Edition of the RTX 4090 only occupies 3 slots. The even larger cooler construction suggests that the power consumption of the RTX 4090 Ti is also significantly higher than that of the RTX 4090.

This is also suggested by information from another well-known hardware insider: kopite7kimi already mentioned in the summer of 2022 that there could be an even more powerful graphics card in the Ada generation, which should have the following technical data (source: Twitter):

How much should Nvidia’s RTX 4090 Ti cost?

There is currently no information on the supposed retail price of the RTX 4090 Ti – that’s no wonder. Eventually it should the map is currently still in the prototype state. The 4090 Ti will probably not be released until the end of 2023 or even 2024 at the earliest.

Since Nvidia is currently asking 1,869 euros as an RRP for the RTX 4090, we would be surprised at the current time when the even more powerful Ti model is sold for less than 2,000 euros. For comparison: The RTX 3090 went over the counter for around 1,500 euros at the time, the RTX 3090 Ti even cost a proud 2,249 euros when it was launched. At that time, however, we were also at the height of the graphics card crisis.

Even if no price has been set yet: PC gamers can be sure that the RTX 4090 Ti will be anything but cheap. We will keep you up to date.
