Ethereum breaks record thanks to Shiba Inu coin
The hype surrounding altcoins is flaring up. And partly because of Shiba Inu coin, Ethereum has broken a new record.
More than a week after Bitcoin recorded a new all time high (ATH), it is now Ethereum’s turn. It took a few days longer than some might have expected, but now the time has come. That record is partly because this week Shiba Inu coin has risen astronomically hard. Good news for altcoins and their owners of course.
Ethereum reached the ATH today, Friday, October 29, 2021, at a price value of $4,402. That happened around 5:30 am early this morning. Since yesterday, Ethereum has been on the rise, bringing the record into view. A similar price can be seen with Shiba Inu coin (SHIB), which just dipped on Thursday.
Ethereum’s previous record was $4,379. That price value was reached on May of this year. At the time of writing, the altcoin is up 45 percent compared to a month ago. For comparison. Bitcoin rose 40 percent in the same period. Both cryptocurrencies sit on a pink and stable cloud. The last two months of 2021 are approaching. It remains to be seen what November and December will bring. (via Coindesk)
