especially for tablets and foldables
Google has previously presented Android 12L, now it is the official release of Android 12L. This Android version is suitable for foldable smartphones and tablets.
Android 12L
In October we first heard about Android 12L from Google. It started with a few beta versions, now the final version of this modified Android version has been made available. Android 12L is optimized for devices with larger screens such as foldable smartphones/foldables and tablets. For example, there are special columns for notifications and quick tiles.
Furthermore, the settings screen is split in two, with the additional actions to the right of the screen. New in Android 12L is also the taskbar that can be found at the bottom of the screen. You can navigate directly to an app by tapping the icon, and you can multitask faster. You can also drag the icon to another side of the screen to open an app in split mode.
Google says it will roll out Android 12L from “later this year” for Samsung, Lenovo and Microsoft, among others. A specific time is not shared by Google at this time.
