Entrepreneur Negin Mirsalehi pregnant with first child: ‘Little miracle baby’

“New chapter: baby,” writes Negin, owner of beauty brand Gisou, on Instagram with a photo of her holding her belly. “So happy to announce that we are expecting a baby. Omg, can you believe we’re really going to be parents?”

Negin says that a pregnancy was anything but natural for her. “The past year and a half has been arguably one of the most challenging periods of our lives,” she says. “We were told at the hospital that it would be very difficult for us to get pregnant. So it is our little miracle baby and we are very grateful for that.” Hiding her belly from her 6.8 million followers was a big job by the way. “When shooting pictures, it was all about the right angle. Somehow I don’t look pregnant from the front, but it’s kind of obvious from the side.” Negin, who has been together with Maurits for over fifteen years, was proposed to last summer.
