Elon Musk about Tesla beta version: “more difficult than expected!”

Tesla will soon release a beta version of FSD. On Twitter, Elon Musk admits that the technology is more difficult than expected.

Now that the world is under the spell of electric driving, you have more choices than just a Tesla. However, that does not mean that Elon Musk is letting his Teslas bleed to death. There is still a lot to be said for a Tesla, especially the gadgets and fun functions that you get.

FSD

One of the things Tesla is serious about is FSD: Full Self Driving. The possibility for their cars to be able to drive completely independently. FSD is more or less the successor to Autopilot and it is what ensures that your Tesla should eventually be able to drive without driver input. A hell of a job to get that onto the market without accidents, which is why authorities come up with many rules to postpone FSD without input from the driver.

Beta version

In the meantime, development continues. Tesla plans to launch FSD 9, the next major version of autonomous technology, soon. Elon Musk always appreciates input from owners and that is why the latest version will be available as a beta version soon. Owners are already poking fun at Musk’s statements promising that the latest version of FSD “is coming.” That is why you will soon be able to get started with FSD 9 beta.

“Harder than expected”

So FSD 9 for your Tesla is on the way, but Musk admits it was a chore. The CEO says on Twitter that he did not expect it to be so difficult. Finding a solution for ‘real world AI’ is one of the big problems that FSD must be able to handle for your Tesla. That’s why it took a while.

However, Musk swears that FSD 9 will be available soon for your Tesla. An exact date has not yet been announced.
