What function does a battery have on an e-bike?

How much does it cost to charge my battery?
The costs for charging your battery are determined by two factors: the battery capacity and the price of the electricity. On average, the battery capacity is around 300 watt-hours, also known as Wh for short. About 25 percent of this electricity is lost to heat. You can assume that you therefore always use a little more watt-hours. In this example, assume approximately 400 watt-hours of power per charge.
On average, a kilowatt hour costs 25 euro cents. The calculation is: 0.25 : 1000Kwh x 400 Wh. A charge therefore only costs 10 euro cents. Of course this depends on the current prices of kilowatt hours.
