Elden Ring: Blaidd the Halfwolf

Blaidd the Halfwolf is an NPC in Elden Ring with a multi-part quest line. To do this, you must first find the wolf in the cloud forest and then track down Darriwil for him, among other things. In our Blaidd’s Quest Walkthrough, we’ll walk you through all the steps of his mission.

Hear wolf howls in the cloud forest

Blaidd meets you for the first time in the cloud forest to the east of Limgrave. He’s sitting here on top of the ruins in the center, periodically letting out a wolf howl.

You can’t speak to him here yet. You have to though heard his howl at least onceso his quest can continue.

Earned the Finger Snap emote

From 0:57 in the video

Now teleport to the Church of Elleh near the starting point in Limgrave and speak to trader Kalé there. If you previously heard Blaidd howl, you can now use the dialogue option with him “About Howling in the Cloud Forest” choose.

Then he teaches you Finger Snap Gesture, which you can use to signal Blaidd. Use the Ruins emote to make Blaidd jump off the top of the tower. Now you can talk to him and exhaust all his dialogues. He gives you the order a man named Darriwil to find.

Find and defeat Darriwil

Darriwil is a boss that you can find in the Sealed Hound Prison in South Limgrave can defeat. While in prison, you can also summon Blaidd to help by interacting with the gold reputation icon on the ground.

After the fight, talk to Blaidd, who will appear next to the seal prison. As a reward, he will give you two Darkforge Stones. He also advises you to speak to War Strategist Iji south of Caria Manor in Liurnia. If you tell him that Blaidd is sending you, you can buy the Carian Filigree Crest Talisman from Iji.

A notice: If you’ve already defeated Darriwil before meeting Blaidd for the first time, you can still meet him afterwards at the edge of the seal prison after making up for the first encounter at the ruins in the cloud forest.

Blaidd in Ranni’s tower

From now on, Blaidd becomes a supporting character in Ranni’s quest. Traverse Caria’s estate in northwest Liurnia and start the mission in Ranni’s Tower by speaking to her in the spire. Blaidd then appears in spectral form further down the tower. Talk to him here.

He wants to find a way to Nokron and gives you the hint that he has the Fountain entrance in the cloud forest will travel to Siofra.

Find Black Wolf Mask (Optional)

If you want, you can now find the wolf mask that Blaidd is wearing. you find her on a corpse on the wall behind Seluvis’ tower a little further south. You can reach the mask via the remains of the wall to the left and right of the entrance to Seluvis’ tower.

Find Blaidd in Siofra

From 6:23 in the video

Now enter the underworld of Siofra via the fountain entrance in the cloud forest. Here you can meet Blaidd again in the east of the area on the cliff. He still hasn’t found a way to Nokron and suggests you ask Seluvis for advice.

Now when you talk to Seluvis in his tower about Nokron, he will tell you “Seluvis’ Letter of Recommendation” give. This should be shown to Sorceress Sellen, as she may know more. Finally, Sellen gives you a clue to Radahn, who must first be defeated before Nokron can be reached.

Return to Blaidd and choose the dialogue option “Told by Sellen.”so that he is next to the Festival of Fighters after Castle Redmane in the southeast of Caelid embarks

Find Blaidd in Castle Redmane

You can talk to Blaidd again here and then summon him to help you fight Radahn as well. After defeating Radahn, Blaidd is then directly at the Place of Mercy in the boss area. He is pleased that the road to Nokron is now clear and hopes to meet you there.

Blaidd in Seal Prison

If you want to hear some additional dialogue, join in now War Strategist Iji on the road to Caria’s estate in Liurnia. He tells you not to wait for Blaidd and go straight to Nokron, as Blaidd has another important task.

In fact, in the meantime, Iji has Blaidd imprisoned in the Bloodhound’s Seal Prison where you previously defeated Darriwil. Stand in the middle of the seal prison to talk to Blaidd. You can now decide whether you want to free Blaidd or not. For his quest, however, your decision does not matter here.

If you now at Iji the dialogue option “Why is Blaidd in Seal Prison?” selects, you will learn more about his motivation and why he locked him up.

Kill Blaidd & get Wolf Armor

To complete Blaidd’s quest, you must first Complete Ranni’s quest. Then you can go to the entrance of Ranni’s tower. Blaidd is now hostile to you here and you can only kill him. as Quest Rewards you get:

Along with the black wolf mask is now Blaidd’s armor completely.
