Dying Light 2 offers a free upgrade to the new -apkrig consoles

Dying Light 2 is slowly knocking on the door and its authors are still sharing some details and refining various details. Polish Techland now announcedthat it will be possible to upgrade the game for free from the old console versions to the new ones. With the game on PS4 and XO, you will automatically get access to the PS5 and Xbox Series editions, respectively. At the same time, we are still waiting for a more detailed analysis of how exactly the title will differ on individual platforms and in what quality it will run.

Techland too he spoke on cross-play support. Unfortunately, the local cooperation will not offer cross-platform and cross-gen as soon as the game is launched. Support should arrive later. The authors only emphasized that from the beginning, PC players on Steam and the Epic Games Store will be able to play together on PC. Otherwise, with the exception of the prologue, the cooperation should go through the entire game until the very end, including the epilogue.

As we have already informed you, the authors recently promised to support the game with new content for at least five years. The cloud version for Switch was postponed last week and will not be able to release other platforms. It should reach the market within six months of the premiere of the other versions.
