This year’s BlizzCon will be a big celebration of 30 years of Blizzard -apkrig

If you are a fan of Blizzard games, you have undoubtedly noticed that the popular BlizzCon festival did not take place last year in the traditional November term. Due to persistent restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, the developers postponed it until mid-February this year, stating that it would not take place at the Anaheim Exhibition Center, but completely online. It has its advantages – the whole event can be fully experienced from the comfort of home and most importantly, the February date corresponds to the 30th anniversary of the founding of Blizzard in 1991. And because BlizzConline approached, the organizers finally gave a behind-the-scenes look and specify what players can look forward to February 19-20.

The first information underlined by Blizzard is free access to all broadcasts that this year’s program will offer. It’s a big change compared to BlizzCon’s traditional concept, which could be connected via streams, but those interested had to get a virtual ticket. “Blizzard developers will share news from the game, the world of cosplayers and artists in two days and on six channels,” the press release promises and also adds information about the round anniversary. It is the celebration of three decades in the gaming industry that will be open to anyone who is interested in it, and the result will not only be an opportunity to discuss history with like-minded fans, but also to learn what the future will bring. In this respect, of course, we expect news about Diablo IV and the continuation of Overwatch, but it will probably not be the only thing that Blizzard has prepared this year.

It is the celebration of three decades in the gaming industry that will be open to anyone who is interested in it, and the result will not only be an opportunity to discuss history with like-minded fans, but also to learn what the future will bring.

As for the program, everything will start on February 19 at 11 pm Czech time, when the players will have their opening ceremony and a look at the games that are currently in development. This will be followed by a more than three-hour section on six thematic channels, which will deal in depth with individual titles. The next day will start two hours earlier and the developers promise various panel discussions and moments when fans will be able to ask something specific. There will also be a cosplayer competition on Saturday, February 20, and other areas of entertainment where Blizzard is penetrating with its games.

At the same time, the content available for free does not deny that the developers do not want the money of their fans, and for this purpose they have already launched the sale of special packages, underlining the mentioned anniversary. These are digital bonuses for Blizzard games that range from $ 20 to $ 60. In this way, players can come to packs of cards to Hearthston or boxes to Overwatch, as well as animal companions to World of Warcraft.
