Dream of many Marvel fans has come true

Almost all films and series of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) can be found on Disney+. But only almost, because the “Marvel One-Shots” have been missing so far. If you haven’t noticed yet: It’s been available on the streaming platform for a few months – free of charge, with no surcharge on top of the subscription price.

Apart from the Spider-Man films and “The Incredible Hulk”, whose marketing rights lie with Sony and Universal respectively, Marvel fans will find what they are looking for at Disney+ – all films and series are available on demand. Really all? Well, unfortunately, the “Marvel One-Shots” were forgotten for a while – Short films previously only found on the Blu-rays of the films.

Finally though Marvel fans get their big wish fulfilled and can Stream all short films on Disney+ without having to pay extra. The normal subscription is sufficient. The highlight: For the first time, the “Marvel One-Shots” also synchronized, are therefore available in German. With one exception, “The Mandarin” still requires reading subtitles.

Equally interesting, the three short films by Taika Waititi, which were already available on YouTube, are now classified by Disney as “Marvel One-Shots”. However, they are not really considered canonical, but rather to be understood as a funny promo. The films and their chronological classification within the MCU in the overview:

Our advice: What you should definitely see beforehand

Tip: If you haven’t seen “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” from last year on Disney+, you should definitely check out “Iron Man 3” and last but not least the Marvel one-shot “The Mandarin “ lead to heart. The latter short is a bridge between the two Marvel films. Ergo: an absolute must. Especially when you ask yourself: What was Sir Ben Kingsley doing there?
