Drama: Sony removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store
A drama for the makers, because they miss out on a lot of income. Cyberpunk 2077 is no longer available on PlayStation Store.
The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was something that the creators no doubt envisioned differently. The game does not run for a meter on the older generation of consoles. So bad, that Sony has now decided to remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store. This is a temporary measure. CD Projekt Red, the makers behind Cyberpunk 2077, will not get the game back in the store until the bugs have been fixed.
With the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS Store, gamers will also have the opportunity to request a refund. Anyone who is satisfied with the game can just keep it. Gamers who have purchased the game via PlayStation Store can continue to play the game.
It remains to be seen how long Cyberpunk 2077 will not be available on the PlayStation Store. The fact is that of course this will greatly affect the game sales of the game. And so CD Projekt Red ends 2020 in a way they didn’t like to see. Your own fault, critics will say. Releasing an unfinished game is a major risk. And that’s what the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 are now finding out the hard way.
