Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed from the PlayStation Store »Vortex menu

Sony removed Cyberpunk 2077 from the Project CD from the PlayStation Store and stopped selling its digital version. The title is currently unavailable and the console manufacturer will accommodate customers who request a refund. For this purpose, Sony has set up a special page where it is possible to complain about the digital PlayStation version.

The move is the result of several days of criticism directed at the CD Projekt studio and console manufacturers in general, who were reluctant to return money for digital versions, although the developers themselves offered it to the players. However, the team later clarified that it had no special agreement with Sony in this regard. At Microsoft, the process was clearly easier with more benevolent rules. Of course, the authors have repeatedly committed themselves to significantly improving the game’s performance and stability on the oldest consoles, where the title is available, with the help of other updates. Sony advised some customers to request a refund to keep up with other important patches that will come in January and February.

At this point, it is not clear whether the move is a unilateral decision by Sony or the result of an agreement with the CD Project. This is the result of Sony’s agreement with the CD Project and is a joint decision, the authors added in a short statement. The developers last told PlayStation fans who wanted to return the game to wait for more information. At the moment, you won’t find Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation Store anymore. Of course, those who bought the game and do not want to return it can continue to play and these facts will not affect him in any way. The PS4 version will naturally continue to go through the updates. The Cyberpunk 2077 is also still available in a physical version that will be sold without restriction.

The digital version for Xbox One is still available.
