Do you actually have no idea whether there are museums or other attractions in the area that you will visit this summer? A search on Google often yields a lot of useful information, but that remains – depending on your destination – a hell of a job. For example, if you go to a city like Lisbon, there are so many attractions that you can no longer see the forest for the trees on Google. Tiqets helps you by listing all the museums and attractions in a city, both at home and abroad. Once you have found a suitable attraction or museum to visit, your app will help you book the necessary tickets.
Discover new attractions
Via the home screen of the app you can search for a specific destination at the top, for example Lisbon. You will then be presented with a list of the specific categories that the attractions fall under, such as a canal cruise or city tours. If you have found a specific attraction that does attract you, you can click on it to get more information about the attraction. This way you can always find out whether an attraction is wheelchair accessible, and what the maximum group size is for the attraction. On the same tab you will also find information about corona measures and you can read everything about the attraction itself, including highlights.
All attraction pages also contain reviews, if available, as well as the option to purchase tickets directly from Tiqets. You don’t have to queue at the attraction, but you can go through directly with the QR code that the app creates. Any discounts are included directly in Tiqets ticket prices, so you never pay too high a fare.
When you return to the landing page of the city you are visiting, you will also see a tab with attractions available today, with below an offer of attractions for a longer visit to the city: “Things to do in Lisbon for 3 days ?”. Finally, depending on the region you visit on holiday, you will receive more information about the city or region you are visiting – including more information about the nightlife, if you like to party into the night hours.
Search for the best deals
If you are planning your holiday and want to discover the best deals, you can switch to the second tab. This tab contains all (local) deals for attractions and museums. When you click on the tab, you will be asked to grant access to your location. With this, the app immediately retrieves the local deals. If you prefer to search for a deal at your destination, click the destination button at the top left and enter your destination. You will then immediately see the deals at your destination or in nearby cities or towns.
Have you found an attraction or museums that you are going to visit and have you booked tickets? Then you will see the tickets in the My tickets tab. If you switch phones, you can link the app to your email address – you need to create a Tiqets account for that – to pick up the tickets.
Tiqets for Android and iOS
